Antony grew up on an island in the cyclades (Andros) with a nautical tradition. From a young age,he was attracted to activities with the sea. He was involved in sailing at young age on optimist , Lazer and 4.20 sailg boats. As he grew older , he moved on to offshore saillig. After he studied at the aspropirgos naval Academy and began his professional career on cargo and oil tankers.
